Horror stories from this place unless you are in the click and even if you are it's still a very toxic stressful work environment. The big thing is management has been told and HR but does nothing, management doesn't care."

Guest Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"Simon is all about making money as their first and only priority. Employees are overworked and underpaid for the amount of work and expectations that they are given."

Assistant Property Manager (Current Employee) says

"No proper training. The accounting department run the operations with a different system. This was the worst experience I have had working for a management company. PTO was not given on time vacation kicks in after 180 days but says other wise on the offer letter. Very dishonest people.Noneeverything"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"The pay is trash,to much work not enough pay or advancement. No hours. Not enough hours given to make a decent check. If your think about working for this company, don't do it complete waste of time and energy!! Management is rude and wants you to do their job for them .NoneEverything"

"DO NOT bother going to work for this place. The douchebag managers are over glorified salesmen with the arrogance to boot. Even the interview is lack luster. They won't give you time of day, in fact I think they are bigots there. If you value a true career do not bother yourself at the Del Amo location. The mall access is right outsideManagement"

Guest Services representative (Former Employee) says

"Thank goodness I left when I did. Job started off tolerable but when I was up for a raise then I was told I had to wait another 6 months. Finally got approved for a raise but didnt kick in for 4 months and they didnt want to retro pay me the difference. So I finally decided to leave. Now I found out they had a meeting and fired the whole department with no notice. This company is thw worse place I've ever worked for.NoneToo many to list"

Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"The work environment was terrible. When I wss first hired, I had a good manager, then she was promoted and they promoted the newest hire, and youngest prison to be the manager. She wad terrible, and wouldn't hire anyone, which forced me to close 6 nights a week and she would not pitch in. The pay is terrible, and the outlet stays open for all holidays except Christmas, and the employees are forced to work all holidays. Before Christmas the debit machine went down, and to my knowledge, they have not replaced it. The computer software and hardware was so out of date, it felt like a time warp. Also, the management office messed up my w-4 paperwork, and never did anything about it, I had to email corporate payroll myself to get anything done and it still took over a month to get my first check!None"

Office Administrator (Current Employee) says

"If you like working tons of over time, working holiday's while the salary and corporate people have all holiday's off plus the day before and after, if you like working in a demoralizing, demeaning, retaliatory, harassing and insulting culture - then this is the perfect job for you. The Office Administrator position is horrible to be in, you do everyone's job, work tons of over time, you are a supervisor, but you receive no respect or benefits as the rest of the managers do. Simon is not a family friendly company at all - they expect you to put them first at all times. The management usually has no clue how to do their job or what to do, so that is where the office administrator comes into play, you get to do all their work and they get the pay and benefits for it (not to mention the praise and respect). All I can say is just RUN!!!! Do not work for this company unless you are into this type of culture and abuse.NoneWorking here, unfair treatment, salary/corporate employees and hourly employees, expected to work holidays, expected to do other's work, while you get a small paycheck, very stressful, impossible expectations, feeling like you stepped back in time to the 60's, 70's when it comes to treatment and software"

Security Manager (Former Employee) says

"Perhaps the worst corporate culture since the firing squad. I know many people will take what they can get these days, just be prepared to sell you soul and watch out for the back stabbers. A typical day consists of watching your back for ladder climbers that will throw you in front of the bus they are driving. What I learned: Never to work for Simon again. Management: HA. doing unreasonable stuff for morons is the best description. Co-Workers: Mostly ladder climbing back stabbers, gossipers, and knitting club cat ladies. Hardest Part of the Job: Wondering if you be fired every day or wanting to slit your wrists. Most enjoyable part: There is nothing enjoyable about working for Simon.noneRead the review"

Guest Services Manager (Former Employee) says

"Worked for about a year a day Guest Services manager, which was sold to me as an entry-level marketing role. Was a glorified gift card salesman. Director of Sales was disorganized, quick-tempered, and it was glaringly obvious she had never managed people before.Good benefits packageDying industry, antiquated attitudes, no vision"

Director of Marketing and Business Development (Former Employee) says

"There is no work life balance and this company doesn't value its employees. Executives and management are so out of touch with today's culture that I'd be surprised if this company is still around in a few years. They use fear tactics to whip employees into shape, fire 50-90% of employees to buff profits and the people they choose to stay are lame ducks who are afraid to speak up. Avoid this place at all costs."

General Manager (Current Employee) says

"Morale is terrible and there is a constant fear among employees that any mistake that is made, you will get fired. Upper management micromanages and criticizes everything, even your emails. There’s a sense of paranoia coming from upper management.Expect you to be available 24/7."

Sr. Legal Collections Paralegal (Former Employee) says

"I enjoyed the work I did in this position. However, the company overall was terrible to work for. There is a lot of turnover due to how badly they treat their employees. It is all about the money with this company and they don't care about you or your family life. The worst place ever to work. I could not take time off to attend sporting or school events with my children. You are not allowed to speak with your co-workers for any reason. It is all WORK WORK WORK, to bring in money for the CEO's pocket. Selfish and greedy company."

Operations Director (Former Employee) says

"You will only advance at this company if your Regional allows it. Assistants get told they can advance to get them to agree to be used by others. No one wants to share information or help you. Its a sink or swim type of job. No bonus program for assistants even though you support other who get a bonus. In some cases, you have directly done the jobs of others who get a bonus for your work. Its a job.Hostile work environment, use and abuse policy towards assistants, slim ball regionals that lie, cheat, and steal to get a bonus on someone else effort."

Office Administrator (Former Employee) says

"I prefer not to give a review; however, in all my years of working, this was the worst job I have ever held. It was a very poor work environment. The last manager was in the job only for himself, gave no encouragement whatsoever and basically was a poor leader."

Custodian 1 (Former Employee) says

"The supervisors instilled fear while there.. Screamed at you every chance they got.. Pay was a joke & so were the raises.. Benefits were outstanding though.. After awhile all 15 minute breaks were taken away. Simon wanted every last ounce out of you before they kicked you to the curve.. Nothing every came easy there was outside year around.. Sad to say nothing was enjoyable about Simon.. Always a struggle to get the proper things to work with..hour luncheverything else"
